Roland International V-Drums Contest
Roland is looking for someone to represent Australasia at the International V-Drums Contest.
The contest is divided into three stages
  1. Video Entry
  2. Australasian Final
  3. International V-Drums Contest

How to Enter :

Upload a live performance drum solo video to YouTube™ (five minutes or less) using any Roland drum kit before August 31, 2011.

Complete your entry by filling out the details on this page.

A panel of experts will watch all the videos and assign them a score according to the Judging Criteria and adherence to the Video Entry Rules.

Six finalists selected from Australia and New Zealand will go on to compete in the Australasian Finals and the winner will be selected to compete in the International V-Drums Contest.

Australasian Finals :

The top 6 video entries from Australia and New Zealand will go through to final round, where they will be invited to perform live onstage at the Sydney V-Drum Festival on Sunday 18th September.

All entrants must perform a drum solo, in accordance with the Australasian Finals Rules, on a TD20KX.

Finalists will be given the opportunity to rehearse on the TD-20KX through their local Allans Music + Billy Hyde store.

Roland will arrange and pay all travel costs for finalists living outside of the Sydney metropolitan area as stipulated in the Terms & Conditions.

 

International V-Drums Contest:

A panel of experts will judge the finalists performance at the Sydney V-Drum Festival and announce the results.

The overall winner will be flown to Anaheim, California, to represent Australasia at the International V-Drums Contest, held at the NAMM Show in January 2012. Roland Australia will arrange travel and pay airfare and accommodation costs.
